Clinical psychologist becomes executive director of Chicago's Cook County Jail

Clinical psychologist Nneka Jones Tapia will become the executive director of one of the country's largest jails - Cook County Jail in Chicago which houses 9,000 inmates, an estimated third of which are mentally ill. Tapia has been overseeing mental health strategy at the jail for a couple of years. In this interview Tapia discusses the mentally ill in the prison and the programs Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart has developed there.
