I am a community activist advocating for the reduction of incarceration and improving criminal justice reforms. As Assistant Director of Community Outreach of the Rochester Education Justice Initiative we provide higher education and social justice advocacy to former incarcerated people.
I have devoted my career to improving the lives of people in the criminal justice system and formerly incarcerated individuals. I am embarking on a new initiative at the University of Rochester, the Rochester Education Initiative (REJI). REJI serves as the cornerstone for UR’s evolving prison education and social justice advocacy programming.
