Now Accepting Scholarship Applications!
The Academic Consortium on Criminal Justice Health is pleased to open the application process for scholarships to the 13th Academic and Health Policy Conference on Correctional Health. This year's conference will take place April 2-3 the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. The number of scholarships that will be available are currently pending funding. We are accepting applications, and will confirm the number of scholarships available as soon as those details are confirmed.
We encourage junior investigators and students to submit a proposal to the Call for Papers (Submit here). Please note that this is a competitive process with application reviews by two members of the ACCJH Board of Directors. Scoring will be based on strengths of: articulated experience and interest in the field; strength of written objectives for attending; quality of the applicant based on curriculum vitae; and whether the individual submits a proposal to present at the conference. Additionally, ACCJH is particularly interested in promoting workforce diversity and welcomes applications from students and early career investigators underrepresented in medicine and science.
The Warren J. Ferguson Scholarship recognizes a student for contributions and commitment to the mission of the Academic Consortium on Criminal Justice Health, to improve health outcomes of justice involved populations. Interested applicants should submit an application below. The scholarship will be awarded based on the merits of the application and will fund the awardee to attend the conference. The awardee will receive special recognition during the opening ceremony of the conference.
THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24TH AT 9 P.M. EST.
